Where can I hear how to hack?

Lets face it, i luv computers. its the 21 century and everything is electronic, i wana hack. just the basucs. even just wring code for stuff or apps for jailbroken devices. i really just wana hack.. dose anyone know where i can learn how? or a free legit softwere to download?
