My son was in contact with my nephew that had the chicken pox over 2 weeks ago.?

what are the chances of him getting them as we are going on holidays in 2 weeks?he has had a runny nose and a cough and i think he's had headaches holding his head a lot.i was at the doc with him she checked him over and said just wait till next week and see what happens.what do you think?have you had the same problem thanks in advance.
