Chicken pox vaccine vs. getting chicken pox?

I'm tryign to decide weather or not my son should get the chicken pox vaccine or if it would be better to just get chicken pox. My son is only 16 months old so I feel like this summer would be a good time for him to actually get the chicken pox. So before I talk about it with my Dr I want to know what are the pros and cons about the vaccine and what are the pros and cons about getting chicken pox itself.
