Can chicken pox virus stay on hard surfaces like cold & flu viruses?

i have a day care and i sent a little one home early cause of signs of pox on her tummy. i've disinfected all toys with bleach water/washing in hot water. those that can't be cleaned as easily, i've put in bags and took out to storage shed for the time-being. i've sprayed all furniture and carpeting with lysol and wiped most surfaces with lysol wipes. i just want to make sure my home is "safe" again without being a germaphobe. of course, i've alerted other parents of the possibility.
